Doctor of Medicine (MD) is a 2 to 3 year postgraduate course in medication. For admission to an MBBS course, candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criterions and obtain the required marks.

For admission, aspirants need to complete their MBBS/BAMS programme with at least 50% marks. It includes a 1-year compulsory internship. Additionally, an aggregate total score of 60% is required in graduation. Candidates are required to qualify an entrance exam for admission to MD programmes.

A few colleges have their own entrance tests for admission, while some select students based on their score at the degree of graduation from a recognised university/college.
